I stumbed across the work of Norike Ambe today. She does amazing work carving up books and blocks of paper. The above piece was a collaborative effort with Ed Rushca. Reminds me of those beautiful topo studies that architects do. Yum.

I snap off pictures of with my [touch-screen phone] when I’m walking around and I never do anything with them. So here’s a few recent things that caught my eye. What do you have in your phone?
Kate and I were walking through Potrero the other day and saw this on the underside of a condo. They must use some cool instrument that can see into the concrete and the diagram is awesome (even if coincidentally so).
DIY design, 8 year-old style. Seems effective from my limited observation.
This page just called out to me. How did it end up in a puddle at [large brick-and-mortar electronics retailer]? What the hell is it about?
